This poor blog has suffered from terminal neglect. I have made a small promise to myself to update it occasionally to reflect life happenings. Right now we are in Tucson at our little home. It is very comfortable and we still enjoy all the wonderful amenities here in Voyager RV Resort. Christmas was quiet, dinner in the ballroom with friends and strangers. It was ham so a little disappointed about no turkey but lots of yummy food so we didn’t starve.
FaceTime is a great invention and we were able to get together with family on Christmas Eve. So fun! We had a family gathering for Sophie and Paige’s birthdays at the end of November that also celebrated family Christmas. Fun and good food! Turkey!
Our trip down was completely uneventful and we had good weather and lots of good conversations. Hotels were fine, no surprises and comfortable.
The welcome from friends was warm and happy. Our little happy hour group celebrated Dusty’s 88 birthday where I gave him the Quilt of Valor I made for him last year. He was touched and said that he really liked it and showed it to his family with pride. Feels good to make someone’s day!
